  1. Well question is a personal one as to me and my situation. I am a mother of a teenage daughter has been abusive towards me. Society and the church tend to only believe that the abuse can only be a parent towards a child. So I, my husband and 2 sons were put through hell and back, not by any one outside the church (ex. police, child protective svc etc) but from within the church. Our Bishop saw it for what it was and he understood, for my daughter was also saying bad things about him that he found out from her peer group that had told him. Yet even our Bishop could not stop the leadership that was attacking us as a result of my teenage daughter and my in-laws who were enabling our daughter and getting the Stake President that resided in their home ward on board along with other leadership in our stake. It was a nightmare beyond belief. So what do you say to the parents of Abusive Teenagers that use the church to hurt their parents? Is there no one that actually believes that a teenager would or could abusive a parent?
